Tokyo trio TAWINGS recently released their self titled debut album and ‘POODLES’ is one of the tracks on the record.
‘POODLES’ is a fun track that mixes new wave with post-punk. Imagine ‘Rock Lobster’ era B-52’s combined with Talking Heads, DEVO and Shonen Knife. There is even a little psychedelia moment thrown in to a track that is absolutely brilliant. The vocals add a cutesy punk vibe to the song.
Love this. I’m now going to check out the album.
