L.A. based artist golda returns with new single ‘Dear Los Angeles’.
‘Dear Los Angeles’ is a haunting, melancholic folk track that is full of emotion. Not just in the music but also in golda’s beautiful vocal. The stripped-down performance of just guitar and vocal gives the song far more impact than a full band could ever do justice.
“Dear Los Angeles, you’re breaking me down…I wish I knew how to get myself out of here.” sings golda, the pain and frustration crystal clear in her delivery of the lyric.
This is not a song that is going to cheer you up, but it’s beautiful just the same.
