If a band gets to tour with Mannequin Pussy then they must be good and that is proven here with ‘Honey I’m Home’ the new single from California’s Destroy Boys.
If you’re a fan of punky riot grrrl rock, and frankly everyone should be, then you are going to like ‘Honey I’m Home’. The song has a killer bass line and a cool drum pattern. The guitars are frenetic and musically it reminds me of The Distillers. Singer Alexia Roditis’ voice isn’t grungy like Brody Dalle’s though. There is more melody to Roditis’ vocals which combines well with the music to make a great track.
