After London prove that there can be a very thin line between Punk and Post-Punk. There are moments during the latest single ‘You Know What I Mean’ that could transport you back to 1976 with its raw aggression and forthright anger. It’s the clever modern indie in the structure that brings you back up-to-date, however. The incendiary lead vocals pull the same trick, as do the guitars.
If you’ve enjoyed the musical inventiveness of Calva Louise and the sheer power of The Mysterines, After London are for you. 2020 is already looking good!
