Sunday March 29th – 7:30pm to 11pm
Enamored with both the crushing vulnerability of the Microphones’ Phil Elverum and the gloriously slick sound of Carly Rae Jepsen, Bay Area artist Melina Duterte makes intimate music spiked with big ambition. Duterte performs all the music on her records herself and records in her own makeshift studio in her bedroom.
Following the success of Turn Into, Duterte has opened for Peter Bjorn and John, Mitski and Japanese Breakfast and been featured on Pitchfork, NPR and Rookie Magazine.
