Tungz are a funk sounding band with an indie dance vibe. They have a good ‘home made’ sound similar to the way something like acid house was. ‘What For?’ is a great track for both chilling out or dancing to. Whatever takes your mood when you listen.
‘What For?’ is also a song that will appeal to younger listeners as it has a very modern influence mixed with a retro 80’s electronic synth sound running through it. I will be getting my son to listen to them as I think Tungz would be right up his street, they are similar to the kind of new music he listens to. It would also be interesting to check the band out live. Hopefully something we can soon do when things eventuallt get back to normal in the world!
