I say that to declare my bias being a Melbourne resident myself before praising Melbourne-band Loose Tooth for bringin’ out the 90’s anti-grunge jangle that always gives me goosebumps.
The tonality of the track harkens back to when Nickelodon live-action shows had the gall to ask Michael Stipe to act on a kids show!
The band tells of #MeToo inspirations on the press release on this song, and come to think of it those early-90’s days did seem like we we’re heading to more progressive times before being rudely interrupted by the war for oil.
Those we’re simpler times…or more ignorant times? I dunno.
