‘Confessions’ by San Diego duo Glass Spells is a sweet slice of 80’s retro synth pop.
The lush sound of the synths instantly transports you back to the new wave era of the 1980’s whilst the throbbing bassline helps to drive the song along, adding a real backbone to the track. The winner for me though is the sweet vocal of Tania Costello. Combined with the melody it makes ‘Confessions’ a really enjoyable track.
‘Confessions’ is taken from the Southern California duo’s debut album ‘Shattered’ that was released August 6th.
