Shai Brides write pop music trapped in a disintegrating world of extreme temperatures and ceaseless information, caught between blinding screen light on all sides. Inspired by digital culture, mass destruction and pop naivety, the band create a sound that evolves alongside the technological chaos which birthed it.
July 2020 saw the release of the band’s third single, ‘Honeydew’, showing a lighter side to the unique synth-punk sound which saw their earlier work championed by BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing West Midlands. Following an exceedingly warm reception to this latest release, January 2021 will see the band embark on their debut UK headline tour.
