20 For 20 is a new feature where I look back at 20 of my favourite things that has happened in the music world in 2020.
March 2020 saw Graywave, the project of Jess Webberley, join the roster of acts that I manage but before we could start making plans for gigs lockdown happened. Thankfully all has not been lost though as we’ve managed to work on some music releases.
June saw the release of single ‘With Me’ and this Friday (Dec 18th) sees the release of new track ‘Like Heaven’ which is taken from Jess’ debut EP ‘Planetary Shift’ that will be out sometime in the first quarter of 2021. Another single from the EP will follow in January.
If you like ambient dream pop/shoegaze then Graywave is an act you most definitely should be listening to.
Providing Birmingham is back in Tier 2 in time then Jess will be headlining a socially-distanced show at Dead Wax on January 10th. Half the tickets have already gone so if you’d like to come along act fast. Full refunds will be given if the show is unable to take place. Tickets.
