Y!KES are a shambolic anti-pop quartet from Middle England. With bombastic drums, riffs bigger than elephants, scathing lyrics and vocals grittier than the gravel on Satan’s driveway, they are here for one objective – to write Mass!ve Tunes! Visually they are storytellers, their videos being part of the broader YCU. There you’ll find neon vampires, Terry the alien and the legendary Bear Frills, a 6ft Teddy Bear with human teeth. Y!KES exist to provoke thought in the mind, angst in the soul and fire in the heart.
