Charlotte Young is a Birmingham based Country singer-songwriter. Charlotte takes influence from all the classics, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, The Eagles and a pinch of Aerosmith and mixes it with modern greats such as Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood to create a unique, punchy sound. Charlotte loves the classics and strikes a balance with old fashioned country feelings and modern contemporary country sounds and crisp production.
Charlotte hand writes all of her songs and writes based on what she has experienced and what she has seen. Charlotte believes in the phrase “Three chords and the truth” and tries to implement that in her song writing.
Charlotte has started to develop her performing ability and has played popular iconic venues such as The Flapper, The Actress and Bishop, Bilston Civic Hall and The O2. Charlotte already has performed at popular UK Country music event “Wolverhampton Country Singer Songwriter Night.”
