‘Slow Down’ is the second release from Boston-based indie pop group Moon Beach, following up 2019’s single ‘Don’t Drive Away’.
There isn’t a huge amount of information out about this band, minus the fact that they, rather unconventionally, met each other on Craigslist – but I really enjoy the soft sound of this track. It works beautifully with the singer’s voice and it relaxed me a lot.
The songs ethereal, dreamy sound is underpinned by a sad, melodic electronic piano which works with the layered synths to bring the song a new energy by the time it reaches the chorus.
Hopefully Moon Beach don’t make us wait another year for the next taste of their wonderful sound!
