Dreamcoaster – Step Outside

Dreamcoaster

Brighton’s Dreamcoster are transporting us to sunnier times with their delicious new single ‘Step Outside’.

‘Step Outside’ is something this song definitely makes you want to do, although doing so now will not bring the result you are dreaming of due to the bitterly cold UK weather. As soon as it warms up though this single will have reached it’s goal. Indeed the band describe the single as “a song about the spring and the energy it brings after a long gloomy winter”.

‘Step Outside’ is full of late 80’s/early 90’s indie pop nostalgia. The lush melody and harmonies remind of acts like Voice of the Beehive and 10,000 Maniacs when at their poppiest. The lead guitar hook is a delight on a track that will make you feel happy. The song is the opening track from the bands self-titled EP which came out last month.

Give it a go, if you like jangly dreampop you won’t be disappointed.
