20 For 20 is a new feature where I look back at 20 of my favourite things that has happened in the music world in 2020.
Starting it off it’s ‘ex-blurst-ist’, the debut EP by The Sunset Beach Hut, an act I manage. Recorded in 2019 a number of things contributed to the fact the EP release kept being pushed back, finally seeing the world in June. A joyous moment for both the band and myself that everyone could finally get to hear it. As for the EP’s name, ask the band!
Two singles were released from the EP. Long time live favourite ‘funk’ and prior to that ‘twenty//25\\five’, which was accompanied by an animated video created by Claudia Eiora Jerez.
